Glendenning is a suburb in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It's about 44 kilometers west of the main city center of Sydney. Glendenning is part of the City of Blacktown area, which is in the bigger Greater Western Sydney region.

Glendenning's Story
Glendenning became an official suburb in 1987. It was named after a man called William Glendenning. He was a butcher from Plumpton. In the early 1900s, he had a place where he prepared meat on Lamb Street. This street is now part of Glendenning. William Scott Glendinning was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on December 17, 1864.

Important Buildings
The Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga is a special building in Glendenning. It's located at the corner of Glendenning Road and Lamb Street. The King of Tonga, George Tupou V, officially opened this church in October 2008.
A bus company called Busways also has a depot here. This is where their buses are kept and maintained. You can find it at 150 Glendenning Road.
