Building Glengorm Castle

Who Built Glengorm Castle?

In 1856, a man named James Forsyth bought the land where the castle now stands. He wanted to build a grand new home there.

What Does Glengorm Castle Look Like?

The castle was designed by architects Kinnear and Peddie. They used a style called Scots Baronial. This style often includes towers, turrets, and fancy stonework, making buildings look like old castles.

Glengorm Castle is located on a headland, which is a piece of land sticking out into the sea. It has amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean.
