In 2020, about 2,406 people lived in Gloverville. It's part of the larger Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area. Gloverville is also located in a historic area called Horse Creek Valley.

It has several neighbors. To the southwest is Langley. Part of Burnettown is to the northwest. Graniteville is to the north, and Warrenville is to the east.

Gloverville is about 9 miles (14 km) east of downtown Augusta, Georgia. It's also about 8 miles (13 km) southwest of downtown Aiken.
