Goat Haunt Mountain is a cool peak found in Glacier National Park (U.S.) in Montana, U.S. It stands tall at 8,646 feet (2,635 m) (about 2,635 meters) above sea level. This mountain is part of the Lewis Range.
Exploring Goat Haunt Mountain
Goat Haunt Mountain is located in the northeastern part of Glacier National Park. It's about 1.85 miles (2.98 km) north of another big mountain called Mount Cleveland.
Nearby Nature Features
On the eastern side of Goat Haunt Mountain, you can find the Miche Wabun Glacier. A glacier is a very large, slow-moving river of ice. This one is "stagnant," meaning it's not moving much anymore.
If you like lakes, Goat Haunt Lake is located to the northwest of the mountain. It's a beautiful spot to visit.
Climbing to the Top
If you were to hike from the starting point to the very top of Goat Haunt Mountain, you would climb more than 4,400 ft (1,300 m). That's a lot of uphill walking! The easiest way to reach the summit is by scrambling, which means climbing over rocks using both your hands and feet.
