How the Government Works
The way Transnistria's government is set up changed on January 1, 2012. Before this, the President had most of the power. Ministers worked directly under the President.
In June 2011, changes were made to Transnistria's Constitution. These changes created the role of the Prime Minister. They also set up a new government structure. Now, the government is the main executive power. It includes the Prime Minister, their deputies, ministers, and leaders of cities and regions.
What the Government Does

- It carries out other duties given to it by the Constitution, laws, and the President.
