The President of Transnistria is the most important elected leader in Transnistria. This person is officially called the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. They are like the main leader of the country.
The President is also the top commander of Transnistria's military. They also speak for Transnistria to other countries around the world.

The current President is Vadim Krasnoselsky. He has been in this role since December 16, 2016. He was first elected in 2016 and then again in 2021.
