History of Granger
Granger was officially planned and marked out on a map in 1857. This means its streets and lots were laid out for future homes and businesses.
Early Services and Naming
A post office opened in Granger in 1857. It helped people send and receive mail for many years, finally closing in 1992. The community got its name from Brown L. Granger, who was one of the first people to run the post office there.
