Reaching the Summit

You can get to the top of Green Mountain by driving on a forest road. This road is open to cars and other vehicles. Once you reach the summit, you'll find a nice picnic area. It's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views.

From the top, you can see amazing sights. Look east to see the city of Seattle and the tall Cascade Mountains. If you look west, you'll see the beautiful Olympic Mountains. It's a great place to take photos!

What's at the Top?

Besides the picnic area and awesome views, there's also a special tower on Green Mountain. As of 2014, there is one microwave tower there. These towers are used to send signals for things like phone calls and internet. They help us communicate across long distances.
