Fargo

Fargo is a small, unincorporated community in the southeastern part of the township. An unincorporated community is a recognized place that doesn't have its own local government, like a city or village. Fargo is located where Fargo Road crosses Plum Creek.

Fargo was an important stop on the Port Huron and Northwestern Railway in the past. It was named after the A. Farr & Sons family, who owned a sawmill and grist mill in the area. Greenwood Centre
