Greta Salóme Stefánsdóttir, born on November 11, 1986, is a talented singer, songwriter, and violinist from Iceland. Many people know her simply as Greta Salóme. She is also a violinist in the Iceland Symphony Orchestra.

Greta Salóme has represented Iceland twice in the famous Eurovision Song Contest. In 2012, she sang in a duet with another singer named Jónsi. Their song was called "Never Forget". They made it to the final round of the contest. She returned to Eurovision in 2016, this time as a solo artist, with her song "Hear Them Calling".

Greta Salóme's Music Journey

Greta Salóme released her first album, called In the Silence, on November 16, 2012. This album included her Eurovision song "Never Forget". It had both the English version and an Icelandic version called "Mundu Eftir Mér".

In August 2012, she also released a song called Everything Around Me. Later, Greta Salóme decided to try for Eurovision again in 2016. She entered Iceland's national competition with a song called "Raddirnar". She did very well and moved on to the final round.
