Gurdaspur district is a special area in the state of Punjab, India. It's like a big neighborhood with its main town, Gurdaspur, as the center. This district is located in the northern part of India.

It shares its borders with different places. To the west, it touches Narowal District in the Pakistani Punjab. To the north, it's next to Kathua District in Jammu and Kashmir.
