Guy R. Williams (October 7, 1907 – December 31, 1992) was an important Haisla First Nations leader. He also served as a Canadian Senator. For many years, he was the only Indigenous Canadian in the Senate.
He was appointed to the Senate on December 9, 1971. This happened after Senator James Gladstone retired. Guy R. Williams is considered one of the very first First Nations people to become a Senator in Canada.

Early Life and Work
