Who Was H. B. Van Duzer?

Henry B. Van Duzer also led a logging company. But he was especially important for Oregon's parks. In 1929, he became the first chairman of the Oregon State Parks Commission. This commission helps protect and manage state parks. He was chosen for this role by Governor I. L. Patterson.
