Hadar is a small village located in Pierce County, Nebraska, in the United States. It is part of the larger Norfolk area. In 2010, the village had a population of 293 people.

History of Hadar

Hadar was officially created in 1883. This happened soon after a railroad line was built nearby. The name "Hadar" comes from a German word. It means "strife" or "discord." The village got this name because the first German settlers couldn't agree on where to build their new home.
