Hagenbuch is a small town, also called a municipality, located in Switzerland. It's part of the Winterthur district in the canton of Zürich.

The History of Hagenbuch
Hagenbuch has a long history! The first time it was ever written about was in the year 856. Back then, it was called Haganbuah. A nearby small village, called a hamlet, named Schneitberg was known as Sneita at the same time.
For many years, right up until the 1800s, the area was known as Hagenbuch-Schneit.

Hagenbuch covers an area of about 8.2 square kilometers (around 3.2 square miles). A big part of this land, about 61.6%, is used for farming. Forests cover another 28.3% of the area.
About 9.7% of Hagenbuch has buildings or roads. A very small part, 0.4%, is made up of things like rivers or mountains that aren't used for building. In 1996, houses and other buildings made up 5.8% of the land. Roads and other ways to get around made up 3.9%.
Hagenbuch is located right on the edge of the Canton of Thurgau. The municipality includes the main village of Hagenbuch. It also has several smaller hamlets like Hagenstall, Egghof, Schneitberg, Kappel, and the areas known as Ober-, Mittel- and Unterschneit.
