Happy Valley is a small community in California. It's not an official city, but a place where people live together. It's located about 11 miles (18 km) southwest of a larger city called Redding, California. Happy Valley sits at an elevation of about 755 feet (230 meters) above sea level.
As of 2020, about 4,949 people call Happy Valley home. The community is generally split into two parts: Cloverdale and Olinda. Even though it's a distinct community, the United States Postal Service delivers mail to Happy Valley residents from the nearby city of Anderson, California. Happy Valley also has its own team of volunteer firefighters who help keep everyone safe.
