Hartwell is a former village and census-designated place in Henry County, Missouri, United States. The population was 16 at the 2010 census.

History
A post office called Hartwell was established in 1887, and remained in operation until 1968. The village was named after a railroad official.
Geography
Hartwell is located at 38°26′6″N 93°56′3″W / 38.43500°N 93.93417°W (38.434925, -93.934126).
