Hans Olof "Hasse" Jeppson (born May 10, 1925 – died February 21, 2013) was a famous Swedish professional football player. He was a striker, which means he played at the front of the team to score goals. Hasse was known for scoring many goals compared to the number of games he played.
He played for several clubs during his career, from 1946 to 1957. These clubs included Örgryte and Djurgården in Sweden. He also played for Charlton Athletic in England. Later, he moved to Italy to play for Atalanta, Napoli, and Torino.
Hasse also played for the Swedish national team from 1949 to 1950. He played 12 games and scored nine goals for his country. He helped Sweden win third place at the 1950 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Club Career Highlights
Hasse Jeppson started his football journey with Djurgården. In 1951, he moved to England to play for Charlton Athletic. He played 11 matches for them. Hasse was only the second Swedish player to move to an English team.
After his time in England, Hasse moved to Italy. He joined Atalanta and played there from 1951 to 1952.
Playing for Napoli
In 1952, Hasse made a big move to Napoli. This transfer was very special. Napoli paid 105 million lira to get him. This was a new world record for a transfer fee at the time! Because of this huge amount, Napoli fans nicknamed him o' banco e' napule, which means the bank of Naples.
Hasse played for Napoli from 1952 to 1956. He scored 52 goals for the club during these years. In 1956, he was sold to Torino, where he played until he retired in 1957.
