Hato Rey Norte is a neighborhood, or "barrio," located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is one of 18 barrios that make up the city of San Juan. Hato Rey Norte used to be part of another town called Rio Piedras. But in 1951, Rio Piedras joined with the larger city of San Juan.
Hato Rey Norte is surrounded by other areas. To the east is Hato Rey Central. To the south are Gobernador Piñero and Hato Rey Sur. And to the north is Santurce. A channel called the Caño Martín Peña separates Hato Rey Norte from Santurce.

- Banco Popular Center: This is a big building that houses the main offices of Banco Popular, a major bank.
- Caribbean Cinema's Fine Arts Café: A movie theater where you can watch films.
- Milla de Oro: Also known as the "Golden Mile," this is the main business area of San Juan. Many important offices and companies are located here.
- Plaza Las Américas: This is the biggest shopping mall in the entire Caribbean region. You can find many stores, restaurants, and entertainment options here.
- José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum: Often called the "Choliseo," this is a large arena. It's a popular spot for big concerts and sports events like basketball games.
- Roberto Clemente Coliseum: Another indoor arena that hosts concerts and other events.

- FBI San Juan Field Office: This is where the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has its offices in San Juan.
