Heather Angel, born in 1941, is a famous British photographer. She specializes in taking pictures of nature. Heather is also an author and a television presenter. She even runs her own company that sells her amazing photos for books and websites.

About Heather Angel
Heather Angel's father was an officer in the Royal Air Force (RAF). Her mother, Hazel le Rougetel, is an author who writes about garden history.
Early Life and Education
Heather moved around a lot as a child. She went to 14 different schools in England and New Zealand. Later, she studied zoology at Bristol University. Zoology is the study of animals.
In 1964, she married Martin Angel. The next year, in 1965, she earned her Master of Science (MSc) degree. After her studies, she started her career as a nature photographer and author.
Television and Special Projects
In 1982 and 1983, Heather hosted a TV show called "Making the Most of…". This show was on Channel 4 and encouraged people to enjoy the British countryside. She also wrote a book called Heather Angel's Countryside to go with the TV series.
Heather was asked to take pictures of Charles, Prince of Wales in 1985. In the same year, she was a special guest of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom at 10 Downing Street.
Awards and Recognition
Heather Angel has received many honors for her work. In 1986, she received an honorary Doctorate of Science from the University of Bath. Since 1994, she has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Nottingham.
She was also the President of the Royal Photographic Society from 1984 to 1986. She helped start their Nature Group. In 1998, the BioCommunications Association of USA gave her the Louis Schmidt Laureate award. This is a very important award in photography. She is also a Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photography.
Exhibitions
Heather's photography exhibition, called Natural Visions, traveled around the United Kingdom from 2000 to 2004. Her work was also shown in other countries, including Kuala Lumpur, Cairo, and Beijing.
