Heflin is a small village located in southern Webster Parish, Louisiana, United States. In 2020, about 213 people lived there.
In 2013, the people of Heflin voted to change their mayor. A new mayor, Ralph Lee James, was then chosen to lead the village.

History of Heflin
Heflin gets its name from Charles Buckner Heflin (1829-1910). He was from Alabama and fought in the Confederate Army. After the war, he ran a cotton gin and worked in farming and business in the area.
Charles Heflin was also involved in local government. He served for eight years on the Webster Parish Police Jury, which is like the local governing body. He was also part of the local Democratic Executive Committee. He was a member of the Masonic lodge.
His son, William Thomas Heflin (1868-1936), was born in Webster Parish. He worked in the timber business. In 1916, he was elected as the sheriff of Winn Parish in North Louisiana.

Some notable people have connections to Heflin:
- David B. Bolen (born 1923) was a talented track and field athlete. He even competed in the Olympics! Later, he became a diplomat. He was the first African-American ambassador to a Soviet Bloc nation, East Germany.
- Baylus Benjamin McKinney (1886–1942) was born in Heflin. He was a composer who wrote 149 Christian hymns. Some of his famous songs include "The Nail-Scarred Hand" and "Wherever He Leads I'll Go." He was connected to the Bistineau Baptist Church near Heflin.
