Heimo Pfeifenberger (born on December 29, 1966) is an Austrian professional football manager and a former player. He is currently the manager of SV Grödig.

Playing Career Highlights
Heimo Pfeifenberger played for several football clubs during his career. He started in youth football with USV Zederhaus. Later, he played for teams like Austria Salzburg, Werder Bremen, SK Rapid Wien, SV Seekirchen 1945, and SV Grödig.
Success with Austria Salzburg
Pfeifenberger had his biggest successes while playing for Austria Salzburg. With this team, he helped them win the league title in both 1994 and 1995. They also won the Austrian Supercup in those years. In 1994, he played in the first game of the UEFA Cup Final, where his team lost to Inter Milan.
Top Goal Scorer
During the 1993–94 season in Austria, Heimo Pfeifenberger became the top goal scorer in the Austrian Bundesliga. He scored 14 goals that season. Overall, he scored 74 goals for Salzburg and 43 goals for Rapid Wien. This made him one of the best goal scorers in the Austrian league.
Playing for Austria's National Team
Pfeifenberger also played for the Austrian national team. He made his first appearance in August 1989 in a World Cup qualification game against Iceland.
He represented Austria in two major tournaments: the 1990 FIFA World Cup and the 1998 FIFA World Cup. In total, he played 40 games for his country and scored nine goals. His last game for Austria was a friendly match against France in August 1998.
Coaching Career

After his playing career, Heimo Pfeifenberger became a football coach. On May 30, 2012, he became the new coach for Wiener Neustadt. He stayed with the club until November 12, 2014.
Later, on November 25, 2015, Pfeifenberger was announced as the new manager for Wolfsberger AC. He took over from Dietmar Kühbauer. In January 2020, he became the head coach of FK Sūduva in Lithuania, but his contract ended in April of the same year.
On July 1, 2020, Heimo Pfeifenberger returned to coach SV Grödig. He is still the manager there.

Heimo Pfeifenberger achieved several important things during his football career:
