Heinsburg is a small community known as a hamlet in Alberta, Canada. It is located in central Alberta, within the area managed by the County of St. Paul No. 19. You can find it about 21 kilometers north of Alberta Highway 45 and 66 kilometers northwest of Lloydminster.

The community of Heinsburg was named after one of its early residents. John Heins was the first postmaster in the area. A postmaster is the person in charge of a local post office. He gave the community his last name, Heins.
