Helga Guitton (born 18 December 1942) is a well-known German radio and television presenter. She was a popular disc jockey (DJ) and interviewer for RTL. Many people remember her as the presenter of the 1973 Eurovision Song Contest.

Helga Guitton's Life and Career

Starting in Broadcasting

Helga Guitton worked for RTL, a big media company, for many years. She was there from 1964 until 1994. On Radio Luxemburg, she co-hosted a show called Tag Schatz, Tag Scherz. She worked alongside Jochen Pützenbacher. They worked so well together that people sometimes thought they were a couple!

Helga was very dedicated to her work and colleagues. Once, she insisted on helping host a special show for a colleague who was sick. She wanted to give him support.

Hosting Eurovision

One of Helga Guitton's most famous roles was presenting the Eurovision Song Contest. On 7 April 1973, she was the main presenter for this huge international music competition. This event is watched by millions of people around the world.

After Broadcasting

After leaving her career in radio and television, Helga Guitton started a new path. She became a coach, helping people with their style and how they behave.
