Henlawson is a small community in Logan County, West Virginia, in the United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is an area that the government counts for population numbers.
In 2010, 442 people lived in Henlawson. The community has its own post office with the ZIP code 25624. People believe Henlawson was named after an early resident, Henry Lawson. In 1921, a company called Merrill Coal Mines started operating here. They even built homes for the miners who worked in the coal mines.

Henlawson is located in the north-central part of Logan County. It sits on the east side of the Guyandotte River. Across the river to the north is Mitchell Heights. To the southwest, you'll find Justice Addition.
Henlawson is about 5 miles (8 kilometers) north of Logan. Logan is the main town and county seat for Logan County.
