The Story of Heritage Creek
Heritage Creek was first created as a city in 1960. It was originally called "Minor Lane Heights."
Why the City Moved and Changed Its Name
In 2008, the city changed its name to Heritage Creek. It also moved to a new location. This move happened because Louisville International Airport was planning to expand. The new location is about 5 miles (8 km) southeast of its old spot.
