Hilda Margarita Ochoa-Brillembourg is a successful business leader from Venezuela. She was born in Caracas in 1945. Today, she is the president and CEO of a company she started called Strategic Investment Group (SIG). She founded SIG in 1987. She also used to be a top investment manager at the World Bank. Hilda Ochoa-Brillembourg studied economics at the Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas. There, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She also became a chartered financial analyst (CFA).

In 1971, she received her Master of Public Administration degree. She earned this from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She was also a Fulbright-Hays fellow. This allowed her to study for a doctorate in business at the Harvard Business School.
