The Hinesville metropolitan area is a special region in the state of Georgia, in the United States. It's also called the Hinesville metropolitan statistical area. This area includes two counties: Liberty and Long.
The main city in this area is Hinesville. The metropolitan area also completely covers Fort Stewart. Fort Stewart is one of the biggest U.S. Army bases in the entire country.
This Hinesville area is part of an even larger region. It's connected to the Savannah–Hinesville–Statesboro combined statistical area. This bigger area is found within the Coastal Georgia region. In 2020, about 81,424 people lived in the Hinesville metropolitan area. By 2022, this number grew to an estimated 86,378 people.
