Hiroshi Ninomiya (二宮 寛, Ninomiya Hiroshi, born February 13, 1937) is a famous Japanese football player and manager. He played as a forward for the Japan national team. After his playing career, he also became the manager for the Japan national team.

Playing for Clubs
Hiroshi Ninomiya was born in Tokyo on February 13, 1937. He loved football from a young age. After finishing his studies at Keio University, he joined a football club called Mitsubishi Motors in 1959.
In 1965, his club, Mitsubishi Motors, became part of a new league. This league was called the Japan Soccer League. Hiroshi Ninomiya played for them until 1968. He played in 45 games and scored 8 goals during his time in the league.
Playing for Japan
Hiroshi Ninomiya first played for the Japan national team on December 25, 1958. He was still a student at Keio University at that time. His first game was against the Hong Kong team.
In 1959, he became a regular player for Japan. He played in 9 games and scored 9 goals that year. Overall, he played 12 games for Japan and scored 9 goals before 1961.
Coaching and Managing Teams
In 1967, while still playing for Mitsubishi Motors, Hiroshi Ninomiya also became their manager. He took over from Tomohiko Ikoma. He managed the team until 1975.
Under his leadership, Mitsubishi Motors won the league championship twice. They won in 1969 and again in 1973. They also finished second four times. The team also won the Emperor's Cup in 1971 and 1973.
After the Japan national team did not qualify for the 1976 Summer Olympics, Hiroshi Ninomiya became their new manager. He took over from Ken Naganuma in April 1976. He managed Japan during the 1978 World Cup qualification games. He also led the team in the 1978 Asian Games. He stopped being the national team manager after the 1978 Asian Games.
