Hiroto Muraoka (村岡 博人, Muraoka Hiroto, September 19, 1931 – March 13, 2017) was a Japanese football player. He played as a goalkeeper for the Japan national team.

Early Life and Club Career
Hiroto Muraoka was born in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, on September 19, 1931. He went to the Tokyo University of Education. After finishing his studies, he played football for a team called Kyodai Club. This team was made up of players who had studied at his university. He stopped playing club football in 1954.
Playing for Japan
In March 1954, while still a university student, Hiroto Muraoka was chosen to play for Japan's national football team. He joined them for the 1954 World Cup qualification matches.
He played his first game for Japan on March 7, 1954, against South Korea. He also played in the 1954 Asian Games. After these tournaments, he retired from playing football. He played a total of two games for Japan in 1954.
Life After Football
After he stopped playing football, Muraoka became a journalist. He worked for Kyodo News, a big news agency in Japan. He continued this job until 1991.
Hiroto Muraoka passed away on March 13, 2017, in Kodaira, Japan. He was 85 years old.
