Hannah Montana Hits Remixed is a special music album by Miley Cyrus. She released it as her famous character, Hannah Montana. This album is a collection of remixed songs. A remix means the original song has been changed or updated, often with new beats or sounds.
This was the fifth Hannah Montana album ever released. It came out on August 19, 2008. You could only buy it at Walmart stores in the United States at first. The album features popular songs from Hannah Montana's first two TV show soundtracks. These were Hannah Montana and Hannah Montana 2.
Many talented people helped write and produce these songs. Some of the main ones were Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil. Music producers Marco Marinangeli and Simone Sello were in charge of all the remixes. The album did well on music charts. It reached number 103 on the Billboard 200 chart. It also hit number four on the Top Kid Audio chart, which is for children's music.

About the Album Songs
This album is full of songs that were already popular. They came from the first two Hannah Montana TV show soundtracks. Many of the people who worked on Hits Remixed had also worked on other Disney music projects. An example is the High School Musical soundtracks.
Kara DioGuardi, a well-known judge from American Idol, helped write and produce one of the songs, "We Got the Party." She worked with Greg Wells and others on it. Other people who helped create the music include Jamie Houston, Aris Archontis, and Jeannie Lurie.
Hannah Montana: Hits Remixed was first sold only in the United States. You could find it at Walmart stores starting August 19, 2008. Later, the album was released in other countries, more than a year later.

The album started in the top ten on this chart. By September 13, it had climbed to number four on the Kid Albums chart. The album stayed on this chart for a total of seven weeks.
