Where is Hockinson Located?
Hockinson is found near the middle of Clark County. It's surrounded by other communities. To the north is Venersborg. To the northwest, you'll find the city of Battle Ground. Brush Prairie is to the west, and Orchards is to the southwest.

Historic Buildings and Sites
One important historical place in Hockinson is the Elim Lutheran Church. Its construction started in 1893 and was finished in 1899. The land for the church was given by Ambrosious Hokanson, who was one of the early settlers. The church congregation first met in his log home back in 1884.
Over the years, the church building has been updated. A bell tower was added in 1907, and the building was made larger in 1952. This church has played a big role in the community. It even served as a post office at one point and has hosted events for "Hockinson Fun Days."
