He also played for England's national team up to the Under-19 level. Hogan is well-known for playing over 100 games for Queens Park Rangers. Hogan's Club Football Journey
Playing for West Ham United
Hogan Ephraim started his football career at West Ham United. He joined their training program in July 2004. He played his first game for the main team in September 2005. This was in a League Cup match against Sheffield Wednesday.
In November 2006, Hogan went on loan to Colchester United. This meant he played for them for a short time. He was excited to play in the Championship league. Hogan stayed with Colchester until the end of that season. He played 21 games and scored one goal for them.
Later, in August 2007, he went on loan to Queens Park Rangers (QPR). The QPR manager, John Gregory, said Hogan was very skilled. He could play well on both the right and left sides of the midfield. Hogan played 13 games for QPR and scored two goals. He returned to West Ham in November 2007.
Time at Queens Park Rangers
Hogan Ephraim officially joined Queens Park Rangers in January 2008. He signed a contract for three and a half years. Hogan felt it was a great time to be at QPR. He believed big things would happen with the new owners.
Hogan became a regular player as QPR worked to get promoted. He scored 3 goals during the 2010 to 2011 season. QPR then moved up to the Premier League. This meant new players joined the team. Hogan found it harder to get a spot in the main team.
Loans from QPR
Hogan went on several loan spells while at QPR. In November 2009, he joined Leeds United. He played his first game for Leeds in December. He scored his first goal for Leeds in a Football League Trophy game. He returned to QPR in January 2010.
In November 2011, Hogan went on loan to Charlton Athletic. Then, in March 2012, he joined Bristol City on loan. He scored a goal in his very first game for Bristol City.
In February 2013, Hogan went on loan to Toronto FC in Canada. He played 11 games for them. His loan with Toronto ended in June 2013. In November 2013, he joined Peterborough United on loan. He played 11 games for them before returning to QPR in February 2014.
Hogan Ephraim left QPR for good on July 1, 2014.
Playing for Wycombe Wanderers
On October 28, 2014, Hogan signed with Wycombe Wanderers. This team was in League Two. He played his first game for them in November 2014. He came on as a substitute in a win against Oxford United. Hogan played in the play-off final for Wycombe Wanderers at Wembley. After that, he decided not to sign a new contract and left the club.
Time at Whitehawk
After not having a club for a while, Hogan Ephraim joined Whitehawk in March 2017. This team is based in Brighton. They play in the National League South.
Hogan's International Games
