Hollandale is a small village located in Iowa County, Wisconsin, in the United States. It's a quiet community with a population of 306 people, according to the 2020 census. Hollandale is also considered part of the larger Madison area.

A Look Back in Time: Hollandale's History
Hollandale wasn't always called Hollandale! The village was first known as Bennville. Both names, Bennville and later Hollandale, were given in honor of a man named Bjorn Holland.
Bjorn Holland (1841-1930) was an important person in the area. He was a merchant, which means he bought and sold goods. He was also a teacher and even served as a state legislator in Wisconsin. He settled in this area, and the village was named after him to remember his contributions.
