Hunt Valley is a community in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. It's not an official city or town, but it's a busy area where many people live and work. Hunt Valley is located just north of the city of Baltimore. You can find it along York Road (Maryland Route 45), which runs next to Interstate 83.

A famous horse race called the Maryland Hunt Cup Steeplechase takes place nearby. The Loch Raven Reservoir is also close by. This large lake is an important source of drinking water for Baltimore. It's one of three reservoirs that supply water to the city. Hunt Valley is served by the Cockeysville post office and is a neighbor of Timonium.
