In the 1930–31 season, which was the very first year for a national bandy league in Sweden, IF Vesta joined the top league called Division 1 Norra. They played against other strong teams like AIK and Västerås SK. IF Vesta finished 7th in that first exciting season.
The men's bandy team from IF Vesta was quite good! They managed to play for eleven seasons in Sweden's top bandy division. That's a great achievement for any sports club!
