He competed as a featherweight in different fighting events across England, including one called Cage Warriors. Ian built an impressive record of 8 wins and only 1 loss. What's even more amazing is that he finished all his opponents in the first round! In December 2013, after a big win, Ian moved from England to Phuket, Thailand. He went there to improve his Muay Thai skills and boost his fighting career. In May 2014, he signed with the UFC.

After this, he left the UFC and decided to retire from the sport.
