Iddesleigh is a very small community in southern Alberta, Canada. It is known as a hamlet, which is a small settlement, even smaller than a village. Iddesleigh is located within an area called Special Area No. 2.
This small community is about 37 kilometers (23 miles) northeast of Highway 1. It is also about 46 kilometers (29 miles) northeast of the town of Brooks.
The name Iddesleigh comes from Walter Northcote, 2nd Earl of Iddesleigh. He was an important person in history.
