Igor Mitreski (Macedonian: Игор Митрески) is a former professional footballer from North Macedonia. He was born on February 19, 1979. Igor played as a defender, which means his main job on the field was to stop the other team from scoring goals.

Igor Mitreski was born in a town called Struga. He started his professional football career in 1999.
Playing for Sileks and Spartak Moscow
From 1999 to 2001, Igor played for FK Sileks in North Macedonia. After that, he moved to Russia to play for FC Spartak Moscow from 2001 to 2004. Spartak Moscow is a very famous club in Russia.
Moving to Ukraine and Israel
In early 2005, Igor played for FC Metalurh Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine. Later that year, he joined Beitar Jerusalem in Israel.
Time in Germany and Belgium
From 2006 to 2010, Igor played for FC Energie Cottbus in Germany. During this time, in 2009, he also spent some time on loan (a temporary move) with the Belgian team Germinal Beerschot.
Playing in Bulgaria and Azerbaijan
In January 2010, Igor moved to Bulgaria to play for CSKA Sofia. He later decided to leave CSKA Sofia. On July 9, 2010, Igor signed a two-year contract with Neftchi Baku PFK in Azerbaijan. He played for Neftchi Baku until 2014.
