Ilya Vladimirovich Prusikin (Russian: Илья́ Влади́мирович Пруси́кин, born on April 8, 1985) is a Russian musician, singer, and video creator. He is famous for being the leader and founder of the Saint Petersburg punk-pop-rave band Little Big. People also know him by his stage name Ilich (Russian: Ильич).
Early Life and Career
Ilya Prusikin was born in a village called Ust'-Borzya in Siberia. When he was very young, his family moved to Sosnovy Bor. He learned to play the piano at a music school for children. Later, he studied psychology at the Saint-Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts.
In 2011, Ilya started working with "Thank you, Eva!", a project that brought video bloggers together. In 2012, he directed two popular online shows: "Guffy Gough Show" and "The Great Rap Battle". He also created an internet comedy series called "Police Weekdays", but it stopped after three episodes.
In 2013, Ilya Prusikin and Eldar Dzharakhov started an online group called “ClickKlak”. They said their audience was young people who enjoy an active lifestyle and have a good sense of humor. Their channel features many shows, including funny challenges and experiments.
Musical Journey

Ilya Prusikin began his music career in 2003 as a member of the nu-metal band Tenkorr. He also worked with other bands like Like A Virgin and St. Bastards.
He became much more famous with his band Little Big, which he started on April 1, 2013. The band's co-founder, Alina Pasok, directs all of their music videos.
Personal Life
On July 6, 2016, Ilya Prusikin married musician Irina Smelaya, also known as Tatarka. Their son, Dobrynya, was born on November 26, 2017. Ilya and Irina announced their divorce on YouTube on August 21, 2020.
Since August 2020, Ilya Prusikin has been in a relationship with Sonya Tayurskaya. In May 2024, the couple shared that they are expecting a child.
Views and Recent Events
In 2018, Prusikin spoke about his concerns regarding his home country. He criticized how some people seemed to ignore issues like corruption.
In a 2019 interview, he shared his strong dislike for modern Russian politics. He felt there was a growing "cult of intolerance and anger" in the country's internal affairs after 2012. He also publicly supported journalist Ivan Golunov during a difficult time.
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Prusikin stated that he and his band love their country but completely disagree with the war. He even got a "No war" tattoo on his arm. He announced that he had left Russia and moved to Los Angeles with Sonya Tayurskaya. He explained that they were very upset by the military propaganda and decided to leave. On June 23, 2022, his band Little Big released a song called "Generation Cancellation".
In January 2023, Ilya Prusikin faced criticism after a video showed him skateboarding on a cross-shaped board. This caused outrage among some religious groups. Some activists even filed a complaint against him, saying he would find it harder to return to Russia.
On January 27, 2023, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation added him to a list of "foreign agents." This term is used in Russia for individuals or groups who receive foreign support or are under foreign influence, and are seen as engaging in political activity.
