Inés Sastre's Early Life and Career
Inés Sastre was born in Valladolid, Spain. Her career began very early, when she was just 12 years old. She was chosen to appear in a commercial for a fast-food company.
In 1988, Inés made her first movie appearance. It was in a film called El Dorado. The next year, in 1989, she won a big award. It was called the Look of the Year from the Elite Model Agency.
At this time, she had a chance to become a full-time model. But Inés decided to keep studying instead. She went to The Sorbonne in Paris. She is very good at languages. Besides Spanish, she speaks French, English, and Italian fluently.
In 1996, Inés became the face of a famous perfume. She took over from Isabella Rossellini for Lancôme's Trésor perfume. This made her even more well-known.
In 1997, she won another award. It was the Prix de la mode in Paris. This award recognized her natural beauty. After that, she worked with UNESCO. She also took part in many fashion shows and advertisements.
