Inez Hogan (born August 5, 1895 – died February 1973) was an American author and illustrator. She was famous for writing and drawing children's books, especially stories about animals.

Inez Hogan was born in Washington, D.C.. She studied art at the Cape Cod School of Art. She lived in places like Provincetown and New York City.

A Life of Stories and Art

Inez Hogan wrote a lot of books, 63 in total! Many of her stories featured a special character named Nicodemus. She also drew pictures for 19 other books. One famous book she illustrated was the first edition of Epaminondas and His Auntie by Sara Cone Bryant.
