Ingrid Alexandra, Crown Princess of Norway (born 21 January 2004) is the heir apparent to the Norwegian throne. She is the daughter of King Haakon VIII and Queen Mette-Marit. She is also a granddaughter of King Harald V and Queen Sonja.
She belongs to the House of Glücksburg, which has ruled Norway for five generations. Under Norwegian law, she stands directly in line to become the monarch of Norway.

During her service, she worked as a trained gunner on a CV-90 armored combat vehicle. She completed a full 15-month tour of service in April 2025.

In May 2015, Ingrid Alexandra served as the godmother for a new rescue boat named Elias. In May 2016, the Princess Ingrid Alexandra Sculpture Park opened in the Palace Park in Oslo.

Line of Succession Rules

Future Role as Head of State
