Irina Vitalevna Baeva (born October 25, 1992) is a Russian actress and model. She is well-known for her roles in Mexican telenovelas, which are like long TV dramas.
About Irina Baeva
Irina grew up in Moscow, Russia. She went to school there for her primary and secondary education. She was very interested in learning Spanish. She even learned to speak the language by watching Mexican telenovelas!
Irina also studied Journalism and Public Relations at Moscow State University. However, she decided to leave her studies to follow her dream of acting. She moved to Mexico City to pursue her acting career.
Irina's Acting Career
In 2012, Irina moved to Mexico City to study acting. She attended the Centro de Educación Artística (CEA) at Televisa, which is a big TV company.
Her first role on television was in the telenovela Muchacha italiana viene a casarse in 2015. She acted alongside stars like Livia Brito.
Later in 2015, Irina joined the cast of the telenovela Pasión y poder. In this show, she played a character named Daniela Montenegro. Her performance was so good that she was nominated for an award called TVyNovelas for Best Female Revelation. This award is given to new actors who show great talent.
In 2016, Irina got a very important role. She became the main star, or "protagonist," of the telenovela Vino el amor. She acted with Gabriel Soto in this popular series.
Since then, Irina has continued to act in many other television shows. Some of her notable roles include Natalia Urzúa Monroy in Me declaro culpable (2017-2018), Jimena Ortiz in El Dragón: Return of a Warrior (2019–2020), and Masha Simonova in Soltero con hijas (2019–2020). She also played Debra Puig in Amor dividido (2022) and Romina Ortuño Vieri in Nadie como tú (2023-2024). In 2024, she appeared in La historia de Juana and as a contestant on ¿Quién es la máscara?, a popular Mexican TV show.
