Gabriel Soto Borja Díaz (born April 17, 1975) is a Mexican actor and model. He won a national male beauty pageant called El Modelo México. He also placed second in the Mister World 1996 competition. Gabriel was part of the Mexican boy band Kairo. He is very well-known for his many roles in telenovelas, which are like long TV soap operas.

About Gabriel Soto
Gabriel Soto went to school at Edron Academy. He started his career in modeling when he was 18 years old. This was after he competed in the Mister World contest in 1996. The contest took place in Istanbul, Turkey, where he finished as the first runner-up.
Gabriel Soto's Music Career
In 1997, Gabriel joined the popular boy band Kairo. He took the place of another member, Eduardo Verástegui. Gabriel helped create two albums with the band: Libres and Pasiones.
Gabriel Soto's Acting Career
Gabriel Soto has acted in many telenovelas. He has impressed both audiences and critics with his performances. His first telenovela was Mi querida Isabel. After that, he appeared in Alma Rebelde, Mi destino eres tú, and Carita de ángel.
His most important early role was playing Ulises "ugly" in the telenovela Amigas y rivales. This show was produced by Emilio Larrosa. In 2002, Gabriel worked with Aracely Arambula and Jorge Salinas in Las vías del amor, also produced by Emilio Larrosa.
In 2004, he starred in Mujer de Madera, another show by Emilio Larrosa. He played one of the main characters alongside Edith Gonzalez. Later, Ana Patricia Rojo took over Edith's role. He also worked with Jaime Camil and Maria Sorte in this series.
After returning from Los Angeles, where he studied acting for films, boxing, and surfing, Gabriel competed in the Mexican version of Dancing with the Stars in 2005.
In 2006, he starred in La Verdad Oculta, produced by Emilio Larrosa. He acted alongside Galilea Montijo, Alejandra Barros, and Eduardo Yanez. Eduardo Yanez returned to telenovelas after many years for this show.
In 2007, Gabriel Soto starred in Bajo las riendas del amor. This show was based on an older telenovela called Cuando llega el amor. In 2008, he became the main character in Querida Enemiga, produced by Lucero Suárez. He acted with Ana Layevska, Jorge Aravena, and María Rubio.
In 2009, he played Fernando Alanis in Sortilegio, produced by Carla Estrada. After the show, he toured the United States with a play based on the telenovela.
In 2011, Gabriel appeared in La Fuerza del Destino. This show was produced by Rosy Ocampo. He played Camilo Galvan, one of the main characters. The cast also included David Zepeda, Sandra Echeverria, Laisha Wilkins, and Juan Ferrara.
In 2012, he starred in Un Refugio para el Amor with Zuria Vega. He played the role of Rodrigo Torreslanda. In 2013, he was the main actor alongside Gloria Trevi in Emilio Larrosa's telenovela, Libre para amarte.
One of his most praised roles was Maximiliano Bustamante in the telenovela Yo no creo en los hombres. This show was very popular and received great reviews.
