Isabelle Racicot was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her father was from Haiti, and her mother was French Canadian. Isabelle was adopted by French Canadian parents. She grew up with three brothers. In 1995, she finished her studies at Concordia University. She earned a degree in Communication Studies.
Her Career in TV and Radio
Isabelle Racicot started her career in 1997. She worked as a researcher at MusiquePlus. This TV channel was like MTV in Quebec, Canada. Soon, she began working in front of the camera.
From 1999 to 2006, Isabelle traveled the world. She interviewed many stars for a Canadian show called Flash. She covered big events like the Academy Awards (Oscars) and the Grammy Awards. She also reported from major film festivals. These included the Cannes Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival. She interviewed famous people like Sir Paul McCartney and Tom Cruise. She also spoke with Julia Roberts and John Travolta.
Isabelle speaks two languages, French and English. From 2002 to 2004, she worked for English TV in Quebec. She was a contributor for CBC and CBC Newsworld. She also hosted a French show about home design. It was called Des Idées de Grandeur on Canal Vie. This show aired from 2007 to 2010.

Isabelle Racicot has won several awards. She was named "Female Personality of the Year" three times. This was at the Sounds of Blackness Awards in Quebec. She won in 2008, 2009, and 2010. She also won an award for best English radio personality. This was at the Dynastie Gala.
Isabelle also helps young people. She is a spokesperson for the Girls Action Foundation. This group helps young women. It teaches them to be confident and develop leadership skills.
