Ishikari Province (石狩国 (Ishikari-no kuni)) was an old area in Japan. It was located on the large northern island of Hokkaido. This province existed for a short time, from 1869 to 1882.

The borders of Ishikari Province were very similar to the borders of what is now called Ishikari Subprefecture.

After 1869, the northern island of Japan became known as Hokkaido. To help manage the island, new smaller areas were created. Ishikari Province was one of these new areas, formed in 1869.

During the Meiji period (a time when Japan changed a lot), the old provinces of Japan were turned into new areas called prefectures. The maps of Japan, including Ishikari Province, were updated in the 1870s to show these changes.

In 1882, Ishikari Province and ten other provinces on Hokkaido were changed again. They became part of three new prefectures: Hakodate Prefecture, Sapporo Prefecture, and Nemuro Prefecture. This marked the end of Ishikari Province as a separate area.
