Isle-aux-Grues is an island about 7 kilometers long. It is also about 2 kilometers wide. If you include the nearby mudflats and Île aux Oies, it becomes much larger. Then it measures about 10 kilometers long and 4 kilometers wide. This island is one of 21 islands in the Isle-aux-Grues archipelago.
Getting Around the Island
The island has its own airstrip. This airstrip is the only way to reach the island during winter. In the summer, a ferry also helps people travel to and from the island.
