Isobel Noeline Waller-Bridge (born on April 23, 1984) is a talented English composer. She creates music for movies, TV shows, and plays. She also writes electronic music and modern classical pieces.

Life and Career of a Composer

Isobel studied music at several top schools. She earned degrees from Edinburgh University and King's College London. She also received a special scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music.

Famous Music for TV and Film

Isobel is well-known for her music in popular shows and movies. She wrote the soundtrack for the BBC comedy-drama series Fleabag (2016–2019). Her sister, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, wrote and starred in this show.

Isobel also created music for feature films like Vita and Virginia (2018) and Emma (2020). In 2021, she composed the score for Netflix's Munich: The Edge of War and The Phantom of the Open.

Performing and Collaborations

Isobel's parents are Theresa Mary Waller-Bridge and Michael Cyprian Waller-Bridge. Her father started an electronic trading company called Tradepoint. Her mother works for the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers.

Isobel has two younger siblings: Jasper Waller-Bridge and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The actress Michelle Dockery is her sister-in-law.
