It's Punky Brewster was a fun animated TV show that aired from 1985 to 1986. It was a cartoon version of the popular live-action show Punky Brewster. The cartoon kept the same main characters and story ideas, but it added a magical friend named Glomer! This show was made by Ruby-Spears Productions. There were 26 episodes created over two seasons.

About Punky's Cartoon Adventures

This cartoon show featured the original actors from the live-action Punky Brewster series, who lent their voices to their characters. A new and exciting character was added: Glomer, a magical sprite voiced by Frank Welker. Glomer came from a special city called Chaundoon, found at the end of a rainbow. He had many amazing magical powers!

One of Glomer's coolest powers was being able to instantly transport Punky and her friends – Margaux, Cherie, and Allen – anywhere on Earth. Sometimes, even her dog, Brandon, came along for the ride! Often, Glomer would accidentally cause problems with his magic. For example, he once turned Henry into a statue of Julius Caesar! The show was officially called Punky Brewster on TV, but many people knew it as It's Punky Brewster.

The series ran for two seasons. After it was canceled in 1987, reruns were shown again from 1988 to 1989. The show also appeared as part of Maxie's World in 1989-1990.

Episode Adventures: What Happened?

The cartoon had 26 episodes in total. Each episode usually had two short stories. These stories often involved Glomer using his magic to take Punky and her friends on wild adventures or to help them solve problems. Sometimes, Glomer's magic would cause new problems that they had to fix!
